The FET Open GLADIATOR consortium met on February 17, 2020 for the third time in Brussels to discuss the progress of the project. On February 18, 2020, the project’s progress was reviewed by external expert evaluators at the site of the Research Executive Agency of the European Commission. GLADIATOR receives € 6 mil. funding from the highly competitive call for "Future and Emerging Technologies-Open: Novel Ideas for radically new technologies", within the Framework of the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme.
The participants of the meeting included the University of Cyprus and EPOS-Iasis Ltd from Cyprus, the University of Oulou from Finland, the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, the Fraunhofer Institute for Biomedical Engineering from Germany, and Waterford Institute of Technology from Ireland. Τhe project partners presented and discussed in detail the progress of each work package of the project and the main results achieved so far. The meeting concluded with very complementary comments by the evaluators but also with very interesting suggestions for the next actions to be taken by the project partners.
